Leg Amputation.

Trooper had to have his front leg removed due to cancer. He recovered very well from surgery. He is pain free and enjoying his life as a three legged dog.

We have even done forelimb amputations on much larger dogs and had very similar results.Our procedure removes the entire front leg and the scapula for a better cosmetic look and more functional outcome.

Hind limb amputation cases do even better since the rear legs only support 40% of the body weight.
